FTD is pleased to announce the long awaited “Classic Album” version of “ROUSTABOUT”.
Reaching #1 on Billboard in February 1965, it would be Elvis’ last chart topping album until “ALOHA FROM ELVIS VIA SATELLITE” in 1973.
Packaged in 7” format with a full color 16-page memorabilia booklet, it contains previously unreleased material and the recently discovered “I’m A Roustabout” track.

Listening to this CD right now and I think the sound is quite good.

I'm surprised why the count-in from the instrumental track NO take 11 is missing while on another track like It's carnival time HOV take 9 / HO take 2 the count-in for the instrumental track HO take 2 can be heard. I think it's edited due to space?

On the original acetate with Roustabout track NOV take 13 = 12 (thanks Keith F) as released on LP Memphis Tennessee the count-in NO take 11 can be heard. However deleted on LP Memphis Tennessee.
Count-off 1-2-3 from NO take 11 can be heard on the Roustabout - takes before the track starts playing.
